Last updated: July 1, 2026. How SYN MUSIC handles your data — in plain English.
We collect only what we need to make SYN MUSIC work. We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles. You can export or delete your data at any time.
When you use SYN MUSIC we store: your Discord user and guild IDs, commands you run, queue history needed to restore playback, playlist contents you create, and aggregated listening analytics for the dashboards we provide to server admins.
If you contact us, we retain your email address and the content of your messages so we can help you and improve the product.
Data is used exclusively to operate, secure and improve the service: playing your music, restoring queues, keeping your favorites and playlists in sync, and displaying analytics to the servers you manage.
Aggregated listening signals are used only in de-identified form. We never use individual listening data to target, profile or market to you.
Playback and queue data is retained for up to 30 days unless needed for an active feature like 24/7 restoration. Analytics are retained in aggregate form for 24 months.
When you remove SYN MUSIC from a server, server-level data is scheduled for deletion within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, use the dashboard's data tools or write to privacy@synmusic.gg. We respond within 48 hours and verify requests to protect your account.
SYN MUSIC is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Questions? Write to privacy@synmusic.gg or open a ticket from the dashboard. We will notify you of material changes to this policy at least 14 days before they take effect.
